I do not trust anyone easily so there is no reason why I should leave my laptop in coffee shop and visit the restroom. I would not give that look to anyone around. Even if I do not have a backpack, I will keep the laptop with me while visiting restroom and manage somehow!

I would never ever leave my laptop in the coffee shop. OMG! Even in thoughts it is a scaring thing for me. I would certainly keep backpack with me and would keep the laptop in it while visiting the restroom.

Great points, Jenn. I'm not calling Tacoma ugly or anything, but this video made me want to visit there soon. And I know as well that life isn't as perfect and clean as this video made it out to be. I don't think "perfection" was the image they meant to portray, but I see what you mean.

And, yes, these guys are "all in". And it can happen and does happen. But I think these sorts of communities actually start there rather than a church decides to place some friends and friends of friends in a home together, shake them all up and perfect missional communities fall in place. It takes lots of intention, prayer, and buy in from all the people.

Good to hear from you. Hope yall are doing well.

Wow-this really moved me. This is what we attempt in our lifegroups, but are never able to achieve for many reasons. The scariest thing about this, for me, from experience, is that life isn't a beautifully shot film. The scenes in that looked picture perfect, but I know that people's lives are messy, and some people's lack of boundaries can be uncomfortable and overwhelming. Also, a church community has a hard time functioning like this because not everyone is devoted to doing this 100%. It seems like you'd have to be "all the way in" in order to be a part of a community like this. So-I love this, yet I am pessimistic that it can happen. I have experienced this in many small ways at our church though, and even though it's messy sometimes, it is a beautiful thing. God changes lives through relationships. We are called to be brave enough to jump in.

Its fantastic haveing a new baby at home, i miss it very much, yeah it can be hard work but you get there in the end, and nô you CAN not spoil a baby to much by holding him, infact it makes a baby more secure and confident, like me im a adult i like to cuddle it makes me feel good, going back hundreds of years ago mothers or fathers family would be holding child all the time, and put down to sleep, its just our western culture that has said this is right this is wrong, folow your instincts and free your baby and yourself from a lot of heart ake!! Have a look at this book, its about a western woman who went to live with the amozon indiens for a few years, they live how we did in the stone age , this is a review of the book " Basic things about humant nature that we forgot or ignore at our peril". The book is " The Continuum concept" now i think that says it all!! Read it it good, it gives you an idear how we have changed in socity over the years and how our socity changes us into being what socity wants us to be. " The Continuum concept".

I can completely understand that. But there are certain aspects of baby-baby times that I\'ll not look back upon very fondly at all. I had a friend that said this was her favorite part of the whole having a kid. I think she\'s crazy.

Someone on facebook posted something similar the other day with "I know I'll miss these days later on". I commented that you'll appreciate those days, but things change and kids get older, more mature, helpful. She wrote, "I know, I know - you'll always miss these days". My reply: "I didn't say you'd miss them - you'll appreciate them, might look back fondly - but you'll NEVER miss them :)".

Vampires are a source of adventure and thrill for people. Are they real or were they once real? Who knows. Is the idea of them interesting and alluring? Of course. They posses qualities we as humans could never have naturally. Super strength, inhuman agility and speed. Some have different abilities than others. Some have different weaknesses than others. I would say the most attractive aspect is their longevity. Vampires aren't truly immortal, that would suggest that they could never die and in their physical form they have been killed over and over in literature. But they would have the potential to live forever, and to me personally, who wouldn't want to see forever? I would.
