Like I was saying....

Friday Five (a day late)

1. What drinking water do you prefer — tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
If it were all free, I’d take Aquafinaor Dasani. I think it’s the label that sells me. But it’s really about all the same to me if I close my eyes.

2. What are your favorite flavor of chips?
Sour Cream and Cheddar, BarBQ, Dill Pickle, Salt and Vinegar…wait, favorite? Sour Cream and Onion probably.

3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
Lasagna or Steak

4. How do you have your eggs?
Soft Scrambled with cheese and some really bacon in it. Then douse it with hot sauce and a little ketchup.

5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
Melinda cooked us a pork rib, cream style corn, green bean, potatoes, and bread meal last night when we stayed with the Spinks. It was good. The potatoes were the best!

Speaking of water – I went to Cracker Barrel the other day. They usually bring out a glass of water before you order, but this waitress only had one star on her apron. Anyway, I told her to just bring me a glass of water with my meal. She brought me a bottled water in this plastic bottle that you couldnt even read. So, now I am drinking tap water that she just put in this crappy plastic bottle in the back and I get to pay more than a drink costs b/c it is "purified" water.

Penn and Teller did a thing about bottled water on their tv show for showtime and it's pretty interesting the things they found out. Anyway, basically the cheapest bottled water is just as good FOR you as the best bottled water and the BEST bottled water is barely any better than normal tap water… but of course, i'm not in MS where the water is greasy anyway, so maybe there bottled water is the way to go.

You really don't like eggs do you… it is just the condiments cheese and bacon you like. 🙂

Bottled water is overrated. But I still drink it. What gets me is the lables that have to say "sodium free water". What? why would you put salt in my water?

Yes, Jay, the eggs are still good..but they're a good vehicle for the rest of the goodies in it.

Sodium is sometimes a naturally occuring "contaminate" of water. Seems it would change the chemical composition of a water molecule, doesn't it? Those little H's and O's must be tightly bound.
